Summer Camps 2010


The Summer Camp Program at the Chatham Club runs from early June through late August.

For the younger players(7-12)
, levels beginner-intermediate  camps run from 9:00-1:00 Monday-Friday
For the older players(12-18), levels intermediate-elite camps run from 12:00-5:00 Monday-Friday

Objective:

Each camp will provide an environment where players of all ages and skill levels can improve their level of play. We guarantee each participant will leave camp with a personal training program of drills and exercises that will, even after camp, help catapult their game to new levels.

Learning how to continuously reach new plateaus, and enjoying the process is an important part of summer camp.

Tournament Days

Tournament days (Fridays) are an integral part of summer camp.
The objective is to watch the junior athletes and determine how they react in competitive tournament matches.

Beginner-Intermediate players focus:

  • All the basic tournament skills: necessary to become an elite tournament player
    Understanding how to enter, and play in a tournament
    Understanding how a tournament draw is read and created
    Refereeing skills/Playing in a refereed match
    Competing in a sportsmanlike, positive, and constructive manner
    Winning and losing gracefully
    Learning from wins and loses

Intermediate-Elite players focus:

  • Basic tournament skills for the Elite Player:

Camp Savings Programs:

  • Camp is even more fun with friends! 
    If a friend signs up for a session of camp you can receive 10% off your child's session.
    Receive an extra 5% for each additional referred friend. 
     
  • Multiple Camps
    Receive 5% off for multiple weeks or siblings.  1st. week, or sibling regular price
    Additional weeks or sibling are eligible for a single 5% deduction.
     
  • Host A Player
    Receive $100 off your tuition by hosting an out of state camper--Scholarship campers excluded

Offers may be combined up to a maximum camp discount of 20%.
To be eligible referrals must be completely new to the squash program.
